TLC Appeal Surrey

Teddies for Loving Care

This appeal has one simple aim, for Freemasons in Surrey to provide teddy bears to comfort children admitted to A&E hospital departments. The teddies help comfort the child, who usually arrives without any of their favourite toys. The hospital staff also use the bears to reward bravery and to help demonstrate routine procedures, to allay the child's fears.

The price of the teddy bears has now gone up since our last big purchase, due to increased costs and 20% Vat.
It now costs us £26,000 per year to run TLC in Surrey.
TLC Surrey is generously funded by direct donations from individual Masons, Lodges & Chapters but only 1 in 5 lodges have pledged their support to us. We desperately need more money to secure our future.
Please get your Lodge or Chapter to sign up to our Traffic Light Scheme HERE
Even a pledge of £50 per year will make all the difference.
