About TLC

Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) is all about Freemasons helping frightened and hurting children when they arrive at hospital, by freely providing a soft teddy that the hospital staff can give the child for comfort.

This simple idea, started in Essex in 2001 and is now rolled out over the majority of the UK and is also going global including America, Australia, South Africa, Cyprus, Malta, Spain and Gibraltar. These bears cannot be purchased. They are given to children who are in distress when they arrive at Accident & Emergency hospitals.

These special teddy bears are purchased from funds donated by Freemasons. A truly special initiative and further proof that Freemasons are at work in the community for the community.
